Eddie has been an instructor at VTMA teaching guitar lessons since 2013.
Eddie is a Huntington Beach local and picked up the guitar at age 14. By the age of 15 he was already in a band and gigging all over the Orange County area. Shortly after high school he decided to get serious about learning his instrument and went off to study at the prestigious Musicians’ Institute (MI) in Hollywood, CA where he received his AA in Guitar Performance. At MI, Eddie had the opportunity to study with some of the best guitar players/instructors in the world: Dan Gilbert, Greg Harrison, Dale Turner, Scott Henderson, and Justin Derrico just to name a few! Studying at MI opened Eddie up to many different styles of music and helped him to be well versed in a variety of styles. Shortly after MI Eddie joined a band called Media Blitz ( an OC Punk band) and is still actively touring the U.S. and gigging all over Orange County. When Eddie is not teaching or playing shows he is attending OCC furthering his music education so he can continue to expand and share his knowledge of music with his students.
